The portfolio covers the East Axis Intercity Train (TIC Eixo Leste), South Axis Intercity Train (TIC Eixo Sul), Sorocaba Light Rail Transit (VLT Sorocaba), and Campinas Light Rail Transit (VLT Campinas), encompassing demand, technical-operational, socio-environmental, fiscal, land acquisition, legal-institutional, and financial perspectives.

Modeling and structuring of the concession for the Paraná LRT (VLT), connecting Curitiba to the São José dos Pinhais Airport to replace the existing BRT corridor, including economic-financial analysis and concession model proposal.

Main Project Features: Project structuring for a concession or public-private partnership (PPP) to implement, operate, and maintain a rail-based public transit system managed by a private partner. The project replaces part of the existing BRT corridor in Curitiba and extends transit service to the Afonso Pena International Airport in São José dos Pinhais.

Activities Performed:

  • Economic and Financial Assessment: Consolidation of investment (CAPEX) and operating cost (OPEX) estimates.
  • Tariff Revenue Modeling: Demand projections and farebox revenue modeling.
  • Economic-Financial Model Development: Building and calibrating the financial valuation and cash flow model.
  • Scenario Simulation: Definition and evaluation of multi-scenario simulations for project optimization.
  • Value for Money (VfM) Analysis: Execution of VfM assessment to support the chosen procurement route.
