Main Project Features: Development and application of methodology and prospective scenarios for bus electrification in Brazil, focusing on assessing environmental benefits and technical alignment with key sector stakeholders.
Activities Performed:
- Definition of the methodology for creating prospective scenarios for bus electrification in Brazil.
- Definition of the baseline reference for the Brazilian bus fleet based on secondary data.
- Identification and description of quantitative and qualitative variables impacting the progress of bus electrification.
- Definition of time horizons aligned with major milestones in the transport sector.
- Formulation of at least three scenarios with sensitivity analysis: Business as Usual, Moderate, and Optimistic.
- Calculation of environmental benefits resulting from the increased adoption of electric buses.
- Participation in at least three alignment meetings with the Technical Group on Electrification of the National Electric Mobility Platform (Plataforma Nacional de Mobilidade Elétrica).
- Participation in bilateral meetings organized by the Platform Secretariat with sector stakeholders, according to demands defined with the consultant.
