Main Project Features: Review and update of the road and transport components of the 1973 Master Plan (Plano Viário – Law No. 1,262/1973) through traffic and transportation studies, including Origin/Destination (O/D) surveys, flow mapping, and Land Use and Transport Integrated Modeling (LUTI).
Activities Performed:
- Macroeconomic Projections: Forecasting national GDP, municipal Gross Domestic Products (GDP) and Value Added (VA) indicators, income levels, and employment trends.
- Socioeconomic Variable Projections: Demographic modeling (total population and population segmented by income class), school enrollment projections, and motor vehicle fleet growth forecasting across the study zones.
