Activities performed: Economic-Financial Certification of the PPP Contract for the Implementation of the Project with Verification, Analysis, and Issuance of Technical Opinions; Analysis of the results contained in the financial statements and their relationship with the investment capacity, the ability to regularly provide the service, and the Concessionaire’s capital structure; Monitoring of the economic-financial structure, including the capacity to make implementation investments and the cost of capital; Certification of Compliance with the Concessionaire’s Accounting Obligations during the Certifier’s period of operation, including the Evaluation of the Chart of Accounts used and its compliance with current accounting standards (CPCs/IFRS/CFC), identifying the peculiarities inherent to accounting events arising from PPP contracts; and assessing the level of detail, transparency, and disclosure of accounting information to facilitate the Granting Authority’s interpretation, oversight, and evaluation of financial reporting.
